- Massage a quarter-sized amount of Cleanse into the skin for 60 seconds, 1-2 times per day.
- Wet a Pull Cloth with warm water and ring out. Lay on the face and take a deep breath. Then remove oil using small, circular motions. Pro tip: Remember to wash your Pull cloths after every use!
- Moisturize with 2-3 drops of Cleanse for nourished, happy skin.
- Use Detox 2-3 times per week, or whenever your skin is feeling congested or dull, by thoroughly mixing one teaspoon of mask with one teaspoon of water.
- Apply with fingers or brush and let dry completely (approximately 10 minutes).
- Rinse with water alone or use Cleanse with a Pull cloth.
- Apply a couple of drops of Cleanse to detoxed skin as a post-mask moisturizer.

United StatesI was excited to support a local small business, so I purchased the starter kit. Unfortunately, it turns out that I am allergic to grapefruit oil, so had to stop using the product almost immediately. If you're not sensitive to grapefruit oil, I think this could be a great cleanser.

I have to admit I was skeptical, but my skin feels and looks great after just a few weeks! I haven't tried detox yet, but Cleanse has been great. I never have to use additional moisturizer anymore, and I've had virtually no acne, whereas it was almost continuous before. It's also crazy to see how much dirt the pull clothes collect off my face too. As a microbiota scientist, I was concerned that this type of skincare hadn't been mechanistically tested, but I've always appreciated the congruency of Crude's philosophy with current scientific views, and so far, the results have held up!

Having spent over a decade trying out different skincare regimes and dermatologists etc, I was skeptical going into this. But reading Clean by James Hamblin made me curious about the potential for a healthier skin biome, so I tried the full system! Got rid of all other skincare products other than my occasional retinal and religious daily spf use. Sure enough my skin has been calmer and clearer than in my entire life. The only caveat is I don’t love the strong scent and essential oils - I wish there was an unscented version, but if there was I’d want it to be a lot cheaper. I might switch to just using plain jojoba oil bc I am poor but I do love this when I’m feeling fancy.

As a master esthetician myself, we’re educated on routines, products and procedures that strip our barriers and do not solve the skin issues I’ve experienced. The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve struggled with hormonal acne. I’ve found skincare brands that have helped, but have never gotten rid of my acne. I came to terms with always having acne and the scars along with it. That is until I found crude. I’ve been using crude for a week, and I have never seen my skin feel so clean and healthy. Every person I’ve met who has great skin always has a foundation of hydration (think of a grape vs a raisin, your skin is the same way). When I’ve oil cleansed in the past, I’ve loved it, but never did it exclusively. I’m excited to see the results of my skin after the 30 days of using this system, and I’m already planning on buying the whole line. I’ve come to learn that less is more and crude seems to have that method down. Very excited to have discovered this brand, and excited my search for clear skin seems to be over!
